One of the hardest things I did after being laid off was to forgive. I had to forgive the owner for selling the company, forgive my boss who didn’t give me enough warning and forgive my coworkers (for no logical reason whatsoever). It was so hard to go through the list of people that I had blamed and forgive them. But I really needed to exercise the power of forgiveness in order to move on with my life.
